Quick Yft Report Sat 28 June

Recommended Posts

Just a very quick report will post up some pics later on.

Went for a snapper fish this morning at the Hump, got about 12 snapper but no real size to them then at 1pm we pulled stumps and headed to our spot for the afternoon YFT run, Well what a great spot, we heard all the boats fishing at Browns got not a fish or only ones.

We arrived at our spot at 3.00pm and by 3.40pm we had the first fish on the deck going about 40kg, then over the next few hours we put 3 more ranging in size from 25 -30kg, also losing one fish at the boat and also hooking and fighting a Mako shark for about 20 min before losing him right at the boat he just spat the hook couldnt belive it.

Oh we also scored 3 nanigi while snapper fishing and we put one out as a live bait didnt get touched.

Oh well off to bed now doing it all again on Sunday.

cheers

Great photos.

Is that a cry of pain or joy in the first shot? Nice action on the rod. :1fishing1:

Beautiful colours on the fin in the second shot also.

You guys aren’t happy at all, are you? :tease:

Well done, looks like a great day had by all.

Well done boys. Fantastic pics. Good fins there. The water looked quite calm.Different story for us on Sunday southeast of Browns, wind picked up around noon and we came in. Nothing from troll out to Browns and cubed for ~4hours till noon for zilch and pulled stumps then.

Regards Kit
