Slider
Howdy People My lady and I had a flick in Avoca lagoon on saturday morning. The water was unusually cold compared to last time I was there a few weeks ago but we managed a few bream (pretty slow though). The highlight of the day was hooking a ripper flatty in water barely deep enough to cover her back and boy did the reel sing. Luckily he was hooked on the outside of the mouth as 4lb and nice flatties don't usually mix... Ended up going 78cm and weighing 3.48kg. Slider
Cheers fellas, My wife has always wanted to see a decent flatty in the flesh and she was quite shocked when this thing swam past the canoe on its way out in to the channel...she though I'd hooked a shark . Slider
G'day Andrew, yep I'm sure there is bigger than this in there. I've seen some coffin shapes in the sand there that look very large indeed... Brent
