Guest Ben75
Gday Fellow Raiders Just a quick ? I hope to get a new ute and am after a Hilux I dont do any 4x4 driving of road stuff but Plan to get a boat in a few years time and would like to know if the Hilux 4x2 with the v6 be fine for getting a small trailer boat on and of most ramps or should I get a 4X4 ? Big thanks in advance Cheers Ben
Robbielites
Go the 4x4 if you can justify it. Many a good ramp has bad days trust me It will also allow you to plan fishing trips in more exotic (read ridiculous) places Robbie.
4strokn
G'day Ben I have a older model hilux 4x2. I have used quite a few different different ramps ranging from good to downright ugly. The few problems I have had I can put down to impatience or plain stuppidity on my part. With a little thought and common sense you will not have any problems with a 4x2. If in doubt at a new ramp sit back for a couple of minutes and learn from others mistakes. Steve
