gazman Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 (edited) the mornings in spring are just great arnt they.had a morning on the stones at pearl beach this morning 19/9/08 and it was warm and the water is also warming up.fished the run up to high tide which is not my favoured tide but it would not matter if i caught jack as it was great just being outdoors. managed to get three nice fish with the biggest going 2.2kg cleaned.got the weekend off so i will venture out again and give em some tommorrow and sunday.all fish were caught on peeled banana prawns with a little bit of cabbage hanging off the bottom of the hook. cheers jacksea. I fished there a couple of times back in the early 90s. A friend had a holiday place there. Fantastic spot. I caught my pb trev off the beach there one night. I was actually fishing for flatties so the trev was a good surprise. If you get a chance to take a few pics, I'd like to see what Pearl Beach looks like now.
