Parra River Jewie Help

G'day guys,

Well got back into the fishing about 3 weeks ago and, yesterday I was fishing over a large hole at Putney...had some freash squid and sat there for about 2 hours...... no jewie action but caught a massive flathead, (swallowed a huge squid strip and 8/0).. I though I had caught a huge lizard about 2 weeks ago, but this one was about twice as big... put him in the live tank but ended up throwing him back.

I seem to be fishing on the very bottom of the river, is this the best? or should I be a few meters up?

Also is there any must have brands when talking rod holders, downrigger(Scotty?) and depth sounder??
