Yeah it is, last time I was up there I hired a tinnie, and grabbed a few flathead from around a small island on the west side of the lake... Its shallow but there is enough for the ol tinnie. Also got another nice flattie in the channel around the corner (west) from the coffee shop. I think its a fairy quiet system, that doesn't get alot of flow from the ocean.
