hey guys was down the boat ramp to day and the cops are at the ramp waveing his hands at me as i was getting close to the ramp ...he yells out that the ramp was closed ....some guy was puteing his boat in and left the motor running ,,,,, car was a 2007 holden and yes it went in ...all the way water was over the roof ,,,,,,,, waited about 1 hour till the tow truck draged it out....oh the boat ramp was the one at the end of burwood road,,,,,,

Ah but its a holden.. So probly a case of the stretched handbreak syndrome..! :074:

Insurance! Gotta love it! Should of bought a ford, come to think of it he's probly on his way to the dealership now..! :074:

If it was a bommidoor they have the crappest handbrake that requires an adjustment in between service intervals and I know the girls in our family have trouble pulling them on tight enough on steep drives. Thank god for the Park in an auto.

The FORD wouldn't have made it as far as the ramp :074::074:

It is not just the commodores with the soggy hand brake issue, my Rodeo is the same :thumbdown:

OUch, Ive seen it happen once before down at davidson park in middle harbour, similar story, guy got out of the car and off she went

I lived in jindabyne for ten years and the local tool hire bloke bought a brand new nissan patrol.he did the same thing a week or 2 after he recieved the vehicle at the snowline ramp :1prop

so for the next month everyone would ring him up and ask if he had any 2ton fwd water cariers for hire :1prop:

I shouldn't laugh, I nearly did the same thing when I left the car in reverse gear.. almost needed some dry cleaning done. :05:
