zrealist
Hi guys, I recently bought a packet of Berkley Gulp 3 inch Minnow - Pumpkinseed. It didn't smell too good when I opened it. Still havent had a chance to try them yet. Has anyone used that? What kind of fish will they catch? Cheers Vic

Hodgey
Have a look here mate: Successful plastics? 51 Raiders reckon they're useful to have in your tackle bag. And yes ... gulp smells bloody horrible Cheers Hodgey
zrealist
They will catch fish, what fish do you want to catch with them? I'll happy with bream and flatties but it would be a bonus if they work on jews and kingys.

Josh88
They are probably the most popular plastic, thats just what gulps smell like. They'll be good for mainly flathead but you should get some bream, flounder, snapper and maybe small jews on them depending on where you fish. Davemmm
Like most SP's they are good at catching fisherman. 3 inch live poddie mullet (in natural) are damn good at catching flatties though. Dave
beach_Defender
I love them, my go to bait in most situations. Have caught bream, flathead and even a confused whiting on them. I use the pumkinseed in as many shapes as I can find and they all seem to work. But then as the salesman says "On their day, all lures catch fish"

yakfishing
Put a light jighead on them, make sure they swim straight and bream, whiting and flathead will hit them as well as many other estuary ooglies. I'm a bit sick of bloody gulps tho, there's too many that come out the packs (even the tubs) deformed and bloody hard, if not impossible to get to swim right. But when theyre right they are good and P/seed is a gun colour in the esturies.
