Hmm Wierd Reef Fish?

Caught this fish about a month ago at Flint and Steel, its the first time iv'e ever seen one of these, does anyone have a name for it? I put it as an attachment is this right?

Hard to get over 500grms and they are good eating, fine white flesh.

hey blackfish ling and beardie are different.. beardie has dorsal and anal fins then gaps 2 tail where as a ling has an eel like tail...

once u put both next 2 each other u will never be confused in future
