cashwa Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 G'day All, My mate & I have been hitting Juno Point, Flint & Steel & sevral other areas around Broken Bay with very mixed results mostly in the small to medium size in a number of species. We have been using a mixture of baits like prawn, swuid, mullet etc. & were wondering if we needed to change the type of rig or bait we are using to target a particular species & increase our chances of catching bigger fish. We have mostly been using a general running rig & have been fishing from a boat in various depths (nothing really over 12m), Should we look at using a casting rig or something similar in these conditions?
