Dad and I hit the water a bit after six this morning

just another test day for the boat , Dad's made some more changes

if you guy's remember we were having some issues regarding getting on the plane

after reconfiguring last time , we had some weight transfer probs

with the new casting deck , i sit a bit further back and this was not the best

now we have a live tank (we are fishing the Flathead Classic this Sunday )i'm a bit farther back

Dad had bought this trolling thing for the 30 but it didn't work

but now , he has locked it up and it works like a hydrofoil

he also changed the angle of the motor

boat gets on the plane nice now

anyway , we caught a few fish while mucking around

flatties , small snapper , whiting and the like

I got a good hit and it felt like a decent flattie , just holding out in the current with some head shakes

got it close and before we could get a look it took a run , maybe not a flat one

finally net it and its a 38.5 Bream and fat

That bream seems to be quite happy and content in that out of the way live bait tank of yours Robbie, your own long and narrow designs make the best live bait tanks and fish keepers in every respect in my opinion ...... It's a fat and heathy bream alright it seems to be swimming around merrily picking up food off the bottom of the tank.

Good luck to you and your Dad on Saturday in the Flathead tournament, you won't be able to fish incognito with polaroids in that polished timber boat, that's for sure. B):D

Cheers
