jrsnr
My dealer says that Motor Guide fresh water models can be used in salt water without corrosion problems, provided fresh water washdown and RP7 sprayed after use. Has anyone had experience?
tyrone07
Ive got a bow mount freshwater model and i just bought a saltwater anode. They cost like around 17 dollars or something and this just keeps it under warranty and stops corrosion. Good motors as well
Narralakes
Iv'e got a fresh water Minn Kota 30 for my tinny, had it for about 1 1/2 years and just wash it down after each time in salt, no probs. Tyronne, what is the "anode"? if they are better for fresh lecs use in salt then I might get one.
