Hi all,

Got to the ramp to be greeted by very dirty water.

Whilst launching the boat i saw something pretty freaky.

A huge fish came out from under the pontoon and cruised past the ramp and around the corner heading upstream to the roseville bridge. Due to water colour i couldnt see it but the wake from it was massive spreading out in a big "V" pattern.

I took a video of it with my mobile it was so strange.

Whatever it was it was BIG.

Motored out to a spot for not much. Pickers are back. Managed one hit on a live yakka for no hook up. First time in ages that anything has taken a live yakka.

Saw a bust up or two but basically pretty dead.

Think i will wait for the water to clear before trying for jewies again.

hi mate,

what are the chances it was a shark of some sort. the bull sharks would be at home in the dirty stuff cruising for a bite to eat i reckon.

unlucky on the lack of fish, but at least you had a crack.
