mako1 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Dad and I hit the bay today in search of some bream. Headed over to Towra and started a burley trail. First bait in the water was taken buy a nice bream. Things went quiet after landing the first bream but after awhile the burley started to work and the fish came on the bite. Landed six keeper bream, one whiting and a trevally. Lost a couple of nice fish as the hooks pulled. Best baits were yabbies and chicken gut. Left Towra at about 10:30am and went out off the lighthouse but there were too many small jackets around and they kept snipping our lines. It was great to get back out on the boat again and even better to get a nice feed.
