Hi raiders,

Went out for a jew this morning about 8am.

Around ten am the fish came on the bite and picked up a fat 30cm snapper then a 50cm very fat tailor and last of all a 45cm flattie took my live yakka.

Plenty of yakka and just under legal snapper. I get the feeling that there are a few bigger snapper getting around ATM. I wouldnt be surprise to hear of some big ones being landed.

All up a nice calm morning on the water and have a nice plate of fish for Good Friday.

The water is clearing up so i think soon the jewies will be biting.

Yeah i was surprised at the size and weight. It filleted up very nicely.

Was tempted to fillet and rig up for a jew. If it was night and low tide i wouldve.

Mike it might pay to fish where the harbour runs into MH first and fish from before the top of the tide down and see how you go then before you settle back into MH for low tide ay.....
