Green Toad Fish?

Question

post-4381-1242626144_thumb.jpg

In my last fishing report, "Tuna! ... Dollies! ... Tailor! Non Stop Action!", I mentioned how at one stage these leatherjacket/toad like creatures chewed my sp up and also bit through 80lb braid to steal my mate Syd's new knife jig while we were catching some dollies close in (about 1km from shore in about 30-40m).

I saw the culprits following my lure to the surface. They were about 30cm long, reasonably narrow and sort of "boxy" in cross-section, and greenish brown.

'Freshgreg', in a reply suggested they were "green toad fish". I've looked everywhere, but cannot find a photo or their correct name.

Can anybody help with a picture of a "green toad fish" or any information about them?

Cheers

Peter
