Aquaholic
Hi All, I have recently been having some success using bait for Perch, but limited success with lures. Can any one recommend a suitable lure we could try? Good fishing to all over Easter Aqua
Lightweight
Hi Aqua, If you are talking the Silver Perch I have had a small amount of success with the purple/silver stripe deception and the Rapala Shad Rap in the birght Yellow with the green stripes... Aquaholic
Now I have been caught out. I don't know the exact species of Perch, but here's what I can tell you. It is a lake on private property that they have stocked with what I am told are "Perch" from my reserch they are Silver or Golden. Stating the obvious they are a beautiful golden brown colour, but I don't know if that is due to the colour of the water they are in. I will try and get a good photo this weekend and load it up. Sorry for the vague information I hope it helps. Aqua

Rick T
Depends on what style of lure fishing u prefer but here are a few options that I would prefer for yellas 3" powerhawg gold/black with 1/4 oz jighead 60-70mm lipless crankbait in silver or gold colours 1/4-1/2oz tandem spinnerbait in gold black. dacobra
Fished 3 private dams at Bilpin a while ago. They were stocked with yellowbelly - spent the day chucking lures and cleaning fish. Best results by far were with number 2 gold Celtas in green/black.
