Having back problems and haven't be able to get out for a good while ....

This is what is happening in regards to my aspirations to get back out fishing for jew and for other species as well during the in between times ......:-

.....Decided to buy Banax reels to use on my Fenwick and my Quarrow fly spin rods and got hold of 2400 metres of 20lb Spiderwire Stealth for my sp short list comprising mainly of recommended proven performers courtesy of our sp specialists.....

.....80lbs Thrust remote control Minn Kota Terova Electric 2x12v coming from Huey......The 80lb electric will also do nicely as the auxilliary motor for my 4.6m Savage side console as well .....

.....Electric motor adapter plate for bow mounting to be made by Gary Brickman at Seriously Stainless.

......Extra grab rails and rod holders for rod storage to be designed and installed by Gary....

.....Stern flowing waterfall and recirculation pumps to be installed courtesy of Fishraider member Geoff

.....New 60 litre slim line fibre glass stern mount live bait tank with latest U.S. Made aerator ready for installation .....

..... Live bait tank floor stand for added support with shelves under for tackle storage to be designed and made by Gary Brickman........

..... Rod holder mounting inserts to be made to suit my cannon downriggers by Gary to provide for the s/s downrigger posts gifted my good hearted mate, Aussiebigbob

I've got a few good friends to help with launching the boat occasionally but would appreciate hearing from keen members to park the car and trailer, and particularly those who have sufficient time on their hands to have afternoon starts fishing the Hacking or Botany Bay/Georges and also those able to have two tide day sessions fishing the Hawkesbury.....

Cheers

Considering I just busted my big rock fishing reel (my stupid fault, I dropped it several metres) shakespeare tidewater with 30lb mono so looking at a Spinfisher 7500 or 8500 is in the pipeline once the tax return is in and if any money is left after the :wife: gets her hands on it. Other than that getting a kayak outfit for next summer (already working on rapala lures etc)

I would really like to get some heavy duty Gamakatsu jig head hooks at a reasonable price and stocked on the shelf of a tackle shop so I can pick and choose what I want when I want, would be great.

These are as rare as rockin' horse s**t when it comes to tackle shops stocking them.

Plenty of Mustads available though but just too weak in the 2/0 to 7/0 sizes.

I have plenty of moulds, just need some decent hooks in the large sizes of 1/4oz to 3/4oz.

I'm not asking for much............ :biggrin2:
