GregL
G'day Raider Here is some Friday arvo entertainment for your enjoyment. A quick video of some GT's caught on my last trip while on a day out with fellow Contender owners. GregL
Awesome vid greg, how come you rig the poppers with the jig style hooks coming from the face? Thanks Guys, video makes it easier to remember! On this charter operation your only allowed to use single hooks. Saftey for the angler and for the fish. Trebbles bugger fish! The assist hook looks weird but works! When invited, the guides were fishing a single assist on the front of the popper only and hooked every fish that bit his lure! We seemed to drop less when using an assist instead of a twin hook cable tied combo off the front ring. So many little tricks and not enough time to try them all out.....
