The Parra/Bulldogs semi and the grand final are the first 2 games I've seen since a state of origin game I went to in the early 90s. Ignorance is bliss. Like you I am not an NRL follower, (or any code for that matter) but have found that over the last few weeks because of how they got to the grand final i have had a soft spot for the EELS. It was just bad luck that they didnt get up on the night, but it was a big ask coming from 8th on the ladder to winning the big one. Better luck next year.
