any tips on what knots to tie stingers with?

what situation do you want it for lure?bait? you can tie a sliding snell for a 2 hook rig if you just want 2 hooks or do you want to tie another hook onto the barb of another hook?? that can be done again with a snell but if you want it for bait that limits the distance where you can put the 2nd hook you would be better of with a sliding snell rig with 2 single hooks then you can vary the distance between the 1st and 2nd hook thus be able accomadate different bait sizes.
