Live Bait Tanks

I am in the process of finishing mine now. Got alot of ideas from here and the internet and went from there. Most tanks i saw would cost around the $350+ mark from retailers. When its finished, tried and tested i will put up a full report. Its not exactly the best looking one out there but the way its been put together is pretty good, even to the point it should function as a deck wash as well.

ok for a budget boat set up*

one esky try and get one around 45lt with a flap section lid makes it easy to put fish in ect,

my set up cost me around $110

keeps yellow tail squid slimmies ect alive for ages, pending on how many u have in the tank ect

1x bilge pump $20

1x esky $60

1x wiring had wire left over from rewiring larger boat,

1x clear tube try and get reinforced less worrys and clear is good incase u get a blockage 1.4m $20

1x gromet for tube

1x outlet pipe (overflow)

here is a pic of my set up hope it helps for a bit of a idea, it may not look all that fancy but hay it get me fish!!

I have this bait tank in my shed taking up space. You can have it for $50.

:1yikes::1yikes::1yikes: That is a very good offer for $50. Take him up on it. I made one of the esky ones but that one is far superior. You will need a bilge to go with that one though.
