We run Rupp Tournament Riggers and the rigging is fine except the sun has damaged the elastic in the halyards. I can only find full rigging sets on the market. dave nagy Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Gday The elastic always goes. I got sick of changing them and just put the roller to the hull eyelet. My theory is that you don’t need the elastic as the bend in the rigger is enough tension. Plus it lowers the bottom of the halyard so the weight falls back better. Bentstik Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Go to any upholsterer that make tourno covers and they will have the elastic or you can but a short occy strap with stainless ends from bias or whitworths which a mate of mine has been using and has lasted longer.
