We caught a few smaller fish on plastics and the bigger model fell to livie further up the river - good tactic moving around following the tide change... mate i was the bloke spinning on the point near your boat on tues... good to see you pulled some bigger models out.. cheers livebait!! Buddy, you don't need to catch a jew that's any bigger. I'd pack my bags up and start chase other species if I caught one that size ! jewgaffer Posted April 30, 2010 Share Posted April 30, 2010 Well done on the jewfish king game ... the breeding size schools appear to be arriving late this year and it looks like you'll be in for quite a few more good sessions in the Georges.... the bay and the river is still fishing fairly well in general at this stage and if the weather holds and winter doesn't get too cold for too long, we might see some more reports coming in of similiar size fish being caught in the upriver areas...
