Slowely we are learning how to use the boat, since im more of a land based fisherman... The usual suspects were caught in Botany; bream, flatties, trevalley, snapper, even a leather jacket and a flounder... All fish below were caught using a light 4-6kg rod, with a 4-6lb mono line, with a 6-8lb mono leader (depending on weather,water/tide etc).... For blades & hard bodied lures i use a 8lb braid fireline, no leader.... Now, its time to catch live bait (squid/yellowtail), and go for Jewfish, Kingies etc.... My first snapper 32cm.... First descent flatty in Botany Bay... My first Tarwin 32cm.... My first Bonito.... My first Leather Jacket 39cm.... My first flounder with a mixed bag... New PB, 38cm bream Cracked my PB again, with a 39cm bream Mixed bag, the photo does not do the bream any justice Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
