bucko48
left home early today to check out a spot for black fish with direction from fellow raider centre pin the walk took about an hour. when we arrived the swell was just a bit high for spot 1 so we moved on to spot 2 & could only manage 2 drummer 2&2.5kgs. thanks again to Geoff for his help. rex Edited May 24, 2010 by bucko48

Another good place to fish that is teeming with Luderick and Pigs is North Head. You can climb down the cliffs via ladders and chains ( it is exposed, but very easy and not dangerous). Takes maybe 15 minutes from cliff top down to huge ledge. The good thing is that you can see wave action from the top of cliff. The fishing is really superb there. Alternatively, Old Mans Hat is another good spot, the walk down is easy down a track and takes about 20 mins. PM me if you want maps etc. Matt
