well its EP season !only realy new to chaseing them,seems SP"s are the go!and i know they can be fussy little buggers , just wondering peoples favorite plastics and techniques,

3in slider in pumpkinseed cut back to 2in

Im with stewy mate, forget the plastics and go small blade lures, had alot of success last year with FAT MAX Blades. They go for around 12 bucks a lure.

What system are you going to fish for them in?

Yup blades for sure, EP's & Bass just love em.

I use the TT switchblades (golden noggin & green back) and the Berkley Big Eye blades (nugget & pearl watermelon)

I've also had pretty good results using the Berkley MF40 soft vibes.

Forget SPs and use TT BLADES IN THE COPPER SUNSET IN THE 1/8OZ AND YOU WILL SCORE PLENTY

Great for deep water when the fish are schooled up.

yer thanks guys ,the place Ive been fishing (Davistown) you can actually see/hear them,its a well lit estuarine system

with strong tidal flow ,i have seen some monsters caught there one going 57cm,

these blades sound the goods and will give them ago ,, cheers
