steze
Hi everyone, me and my family are thinking of going away this weekend for a fish most likely staying overnight. Can anyone recommend any good places to fish landbased. I want to use my overhead gear as Its been sitting in my room for a while now still brand new un used. So someplace I can live bait. I was thinking maybe going to central coast, somewhere near newcastle but not really sure. Hopefully the weather will permit us to fish.
autocad
an easy spot to livebait would be south avoca rocks. It is an easy walk from the carpark but it does get busy on the weekends. I don't think there will be too many pelagics at this time of year but salmon can be caught in numbers at this time of year. Just have a look at previous posts from other members such as rayr who frequent the rocks on avoca. cheers autocad

Fester
Port srephens area is great, there is caravan parks which would have cheap tent sites and hot water available then too, well worth the drive and look.
