0 Aladin83
Parma (sometimes called a Scaleyfin)... A Banded Parma I think. cheers, Slinky Thank Slinky, you seem to be spot on. Threw him back so hope the tuff little bugger survived..... All i got today besides him were undersize pigs... Left my good hooks in the car and wasn't climbing back round the cliff to get em..... Also seem to be getting a lot of what i have been told are Estuary Cod.... They do look like them but i thought they aren't for thee reasons 1. they are usually caught QLD? 2. they are protected in NSW so wouldn't they be rare in Sydney? 3. if they are rare this far southwhy am i catching so many??? I think it is probably a similar species....will have to take a photo next catch!

0 Yowie
It is commonly called a Scalyfin. It is a very aggressive fish and will attack larger fish that invade it's territory. Have even attacked a few scuba diver's fingers.
