slayer666
Has anyone had success fishing for blackfish at night? Or are the only good to fish for during the day? Cheers Joe
customcasting
they fish better at night ,high tide in the shawoll water on the rock shelfs of our east coast of NSW .fish light ,pelled prawns or if you are keen pink nippers .the up side is you will get a bag of bream as well as your pigs ,all you need is a good 2 to 3 hours and a big shoulder bag. a few from a 1 hour session befor sun up . arpie
Agreed!! Even in the corners of some beaches near the rocks - just chuck the nippers (in particular) just out past the wash & you should get some, specially after rough seas. Check out the rock edges that normally grow cabbage ...... they usually get chewed right back to the rock on the higher tides!! kingpig
We used to fish for them a lot at night with yabbies in the Manning River. I used to fish on the end of jetties near the poles but had better luck towards low tide when the fish could not into shallow rocky areas or under oyster leases.
