peahead Posted May 4, 2005 Share Posted May 4, 2005 Hi Fisho's I hope you can help me, I am looking for a mobile outboard mechanic to give me a pre purchase inspection on a Yamaha v4 130 on the northern beaches. I have looked around but I can't find any land based ones, most aim for the large cruisers. If you know of any or have used one I would greatly appeciate your help with this. I am surprised to find that there is not a demand for this type of service. If you have bought a second hand boat how did you get the engine checked out ?? I used to have a mate that was in the industry so when I was in the market many years ago, he saved me from a bad purchase. Cheers Peahead... Thanks for that, I gave him a call and spoke to David,he is set to go do the inspections for me before Friday arvo.
