I received my latest fishing porn mag yesterday. I haven't yet turned a page but have watched the promotional DVD.

Now, that Mark Berg certainly can sell, lets face it, the DVD is as much about catching fishos as it is about catching fish, if not more so.

I just have to ask the question. Do you reckon the next DVD will include a section on STIMULATING hairtail to jump into the boat? If you stuck you finger in a hairtails mouth would you experience ULTRABITE?

Dunno about the DVD but I can promise you Hairtail have an ultra bite

I was bitten on the forearm by a big one many years ago & finished up with 14 stitches in the arm. I told the doc in Ryde Hospital I had been bitten by a fish & he reckoned it was bullshitting & that someone had hit me with a bottle or glass in the pub My old man wandered out to the boat & grabbed the 7 footer that had bitten me & carried it into emergency & showed the doctor Ended up with half the emergency staff standing around gawking at a big Hairtail & its nasty teeth.

It got me off work for a week so I could go fishing for Hairys every night

I got mine yesterday too. I've watched some of the DVD. Good fun to watch, even though it really is like sitting down & watching just ads on the telly.

Bit disappointed about the mag though. The plastic it comes in was torn & it got absolutely soaked in yesterday's rain. I might have to give em a call & see if I can get another. It's a nice fat issue this time.

I liked the bit where he is bream fishing with MickC and says that once the lure is out of the zone to wind it in fast to get another cast in, as the bream won't follow the lure out, then 5 minutes later he gets a bream right next to the boat...just wish they had shown more of Mick fishing than Mark.

I dunno about sticking a finger in a hairtail's mouth but I once saw a bloke standing on his thwart seat and screaming like a banshee - a hairtail he'd hauled aboard without first adminstering the last rites had lunged at him and was hanging off his overalls from the crotch region.

I don't know whether that hairy had drawn blood but after witnessing that and a couple of other incidents I treat them with the utmost respect.
