Basil D Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) Holliday Time of year again and usaually go to Tasmania But last year we Didnt Go, will be Going every year to Vist my Brother and his family + Fishing + relaxing + swimming + Dining + Stuffing our Faces with Gourges Tasmanian Food ++++++. We got to the Airport 4th Dec and Landed in Tassie 12.30pm 1.5 hour trip, Rested at my Brothers House before heading of the next Day to Slopy Main, Day One unpack and Straight in the Water, No Boat ramps there only beach Launch & Retrieve. We got Parrot fish and Flat head for Dinner and Stuffed our faces good and proper, Spinner7 will put up his parrot fish for a record at 42cm, what a whopper Parrot. Day two got up 12pm went out for a fish and got Flathead all released as we had enough, We set the Cray pot in and headed back to the shack for card Games and Drinking. Day three, Got up Late again and picked up an empty Pot, No Crays, Guess what we got Flathead and nothing else, all released, Headed back for a geame of beacj cricket, snorkelling and exploring, fun man Day four went to Pirate bay for a visit, the Tuna Club was Closed but got to see the Blow hole and other sites , Loveley place let me tell you. Basil D Posted December 13, 2010 Author Share Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) Still on Day four on our way back Home we stooped at a bay and got muscles and these Massive Oysters, yummmo and We didn't get enough, day 4 same night we went out floundering with waders, No flounder but let me tell you we werent disappointed, we got Gars and a Gummie shark & Black back Salmon got back to the shark for a shower and just collapsed, got up Day 5 cleaned the fish and Had Gummie and chips, ohhhhh yammmmo. we set the Cray pot with the our ladies this time and had fish, Got parrott and Flathead for there relos. we came back for the cray pot some 6 hours later and no crays but a gentlemen gave us two of his 5. we had fish, oysters, mussels, fish, crays, we had food coming out of our ears. Basil D Posted December 13, 2010 Author Share Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) some more pics, By the way the Duck was found abandoned and was kept with us for the Holiday stay at the shack, we named it Daffy, it followed us everywhere and was fed worms and bred, we contacted the authorities when we got back. I am back from overseas, hopefully we get in a session before xmas, cheers george. We seen a flock of Killer wales in front of the beach were we were staying, will put that up soon. I will also put a clip of Daffy the duck trying to keep up with us.
