What, you lost your Fishraider cap??? Oh the injustice........ Now should you by chance have become another victory for the sharks in the running game of sharks vs humans, how prophetic would your signature photo be!!!! On the bright side, now you have an excuse to buy another outfit!
Hey, thanks for sharing that method Jewhunter, will have to give it a burst. Did you see Scotty Lyons report with the 70cm Tailor, man thats a monster!
Wow Groper, sensational holiday mate. I just hope you didn't try the beach launch from the beach in pic 10! Those oysters and crays sure look the business!!!
Hi Huey, indeed we are agreed that the single most important aspect of reliability is proper, regular maintenance. On other matters, please accept that everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Fair enough David, let's hope that's you're quota of breakdowns for the summer out of the way. I saw an inboard bowrider towed back to the ramp yesterday, sure is nice to know maritime are there if needed.
Great looking trout there mdj, you're right about the high country, breathtaking scenery, crisp clear water, and hows the serenity! Well done on the trout.
Well jamesy, I've lived in both cities and if anything it's easier to get onto tailor here. Fish stocks are coming back over here. Good luck and keep at it.
Mate, try the site sponsors huett marine or xtreme mobile mechanics. Both highly reputable and will do the right thing by you. Check the banners at the top.
6 fish over 70 cms, 4 over 80 cms, hardly worth posting really........
Now Dusky chaser, about this 1 metro plus thing, why not aim for something more achievable, like marrying the jayhawk.
Great post mate, sounds like a brill week.
Jay, I'm hearing you, ya gotta realize with fishing you will just be chasing your tail until you can learn from someone with the knowledge. Go on a charter, or go to Scotty Lyons fishin school, it's well worth it.
Yep, the kings are hard to find unless your name is Scotty Lyons, I'm having trouble getting into them too, but then again my next one will be my first!
Good luck
Awesome job Brettman, gotta love it when a plan comes together. Just wondering though, so many reels but no Alvey???? What are you going to pass on to the kids??
Yeah soaking wet might be right. I once saw a bloke bag one of these from the rocks near crescent head, it was a 70cm version and the bloke was soaked from head to toe, he had wrestled this thing to shore in the end and it looked as though it had been a close contest.
Now, on two important matters, good luck and don't do it!
That being chasing the groper and getting engaged, will leave it to you to figure which advice goes with which activity.
