tryhard
G'day folks. Before we start, just like to say that I will be ringing Huey on Monday morning (I've PM'd him as well)............ I have a 2000 model Ocean pro V4 90 hp that has decided to play up - now I should have anticipated this - because I have a mate comming over from Adelaide this week & we had planned a Friday Fishing trip & Murphy has decided to help me prepare the boat! The issue is that I can trim the motor down with no problems but when I go to trim it up, it only does it when it feels like it! if i hold the trim button in, the motor will eventually trim up. Now, it does not seem to make any difference if I use the trim button on the throttle control, or if I use the button on the side of the motor - the same result with either. I have cleaned the contacts on the relays & I have even swapped the relays to see if that made any difference - it didnt. Because it works intermittantly, it seems like a dirty contact of some sort. Any ideas?
