Coffs Harbour landbased?

Gday everyone im a Sydney fella heading up to Coffs this weekend and cant pass up the chance to wet a line while im there.If anyone could help me out as to where a good landbased spot is would be great, either beach or somewhere i can flick soft plastics around.Thanks.

if it was me going to coffs i'd bring a 10foot spin rod matched to reel that holds aleast 200 plus metres more is better of 30lb line and throw some chrome slices in 50grams around the front / north end of mottonbird island but be careful, watch the seas here and have the right safety gear to fish

or fish the beach and jetty there with plastics for bream and whiting
