Robofish
Raiders, I really enjoy my squid fishing whether it's for bait or the pan but only seem to catch small ones . I catch my squid around the little bays in middle harbour and cowan creek - is location the key to the bigger models? Should I be fishing deeper more tidal washy areas? Any advice would be appreciated.
10460475
Hey mate, from my experience the bigger guys are usually in deeper water, but i have also found that at certain times of the year they are a bit bigger too. Dave

humesy
Maybe try further downstream towards the harbour entrance.
Hooked-Up
in those spots youd be catching arrow squid which can get to a reasonable size, however if you want them 500gr + id be looking at catching some calamari in saltier cleaner water, much better to eat if the fish dont want em too.
