Went on Botany yesterday in my boat, caught plenty of just legal flatties(6) in about an hour, only kept one at 45cm, the rest were all returned to the water. All on plastics, 5" jerk shad any colour seemed to work. Also got my first kingfish, but unfortunately only 63cm so devastating to throw it back after 15 min fight, guessing since it aint legal its still a yakka??. Oh yeah all were caught on 2-5kg t-curve, sol 2500 and 4lb line 8lb flouro leader. Went out shore based tonight on Georges and got a jewie at 68cm, using squid as bait. This came home as a man's gotta eat right?? Sorry bout the short and sweet post guys (a little tired).
