Great Video  , Was fishing the mountain on Saturday out of a white sharkcat managed a couple of blueye and went tuna trolling by 10 am as the bottom seemed slow fishing , maybe should have stuck with it for a couple more drops . There were alot of boats out there .

Headed out to browns on saturday and managed to bag out on blue eye and gemfish.

We also managed a john dory.

Check out the video

Well done, some of the best eating fish in the ocean :1fishing1::1fishing1::1fishing1: I love the rod and reel set up i swapped to electric also as it sure makes for a more relaxing day out especially on the deep drops.

Good work on your video was enjoyable to watch  Sure makes it look worth the boat ride to browns so much more worth while.

Geez fellas,

It looked like very hard work especially that fella with the sunnies and cap and beer in hand  . I saw the "effort" he put into pushing the button :biggrin2: , the concentration  and the focus :1yikes: . It was so intense. I don't know if I could do it. Well done boys.

Regards Kit

ps I have to admit, I have the same toys(electric reels), and looking forward to using them soon.

Thats great fishing. Well done.

What set up do you with the electrics/rod and reel. We are using a reef queen at the moment and it is starting to get a little too painful for me especially when you pull up nothing.

We use a miya epoch x9 or x8 no smaller than that and bent butt rods between 37kg & 60kg.
