There was quite a bit of wind and waves coming in. Bought my first popper on Saturday, Berkley pop dog, and decided to give it a go. Hoping to target some bream on poppers. About the second cast in, the lire got smashed and the reel started screaming. Thought it was a trevally at first but as I reeled it in, it was a PB tailor for me. The tailor gave my gear a nice workout, and it my first cat h on a popper. So stocked! Not much after that cause of the incoming thunder! Tailor was released to fight another day!
