Alarm went off at 2:30 met my brother at 3:00 and set off for the 2-1/2 hour trip down the highway from Syd.

Arrived just as it was getting light and the plan was to paddle straight to the back of the dam and slowly work our way back. We started throwing surface lures and the hits came thick and fast. This dam is not known for it's big fish but they are really healthy looking and scrap well above their weight. After the surface bite died we started throwing smaller sized spinner baits. All up we caught about a dozen fish between us. Got back to the rat race just after lunch time. Working in an office in the city all week this is what I call my medicine.

Regards Heath
