What about the function for land based fishos in particular whereby you point the phone towards the water where you intend to fish and you get a screen display just like that of a sounder displaying water depth, schools of fish etc

There is a clip on youtube that claims to do that.But its a con job.

What I use when fishing at the moment, weather apps, rain radar, wind conditions, navonics maps, tides, google maps, sea surface temps.

Would love inland fisheries, what's in them, access infomation and water level info.

For salt, tidal info up rivers(delayed times) don't know if there is such a thing about water clarity...

GPS info for photos, mose well link it as it's there already. Would be cool if when you take a fish pic it asks you to enter details of fish when you take it.

A Shazam style fish ID, take a pic and then it tells you what it is.

There is an app called fishbrain but u have to pay to see exact catch locations, top lures, bite times.ect. so an app for fishos to do these things for free. That would be great!
