squidboy
Hi Raiders, I have a 60HP Yamaha Four Stroke. I have purchased an engine cover for the motor but I am not too sure whether I can run the engine with the cover on as it does not have any breathe hole/s. Would anyone know where the air intake for these motors is? From my look at the engine, it maybe from the top of the cowling which may suggest the cover I have purchased is for travel only rather than full time protection. Love to hear fellow raiders views. dunc333
if its a genuine yammi cover you should be ok ,if not probably just for travel and you can get it moderfied usually intakes are at rear top and sides of motor.or go buy a can of phantom black spray paint and try and make it look like a merc
Guest Aussie007
the air intake could be inside the handle in the cowling
