Re-Chroming parts

Hi Raiders,

Does anyone know of somewhere I can get a few parts re-chromed. I've got some gunwale rubber caps and handrails that need to be tidied up. I heard somewhere that the process isn't actually done in NSW anymore. Is this true?

If it is, does anyone know the cost of this process?

greg you need to work out weather the parts have been chromed or are in fact stainless steel that has been polished most handrails are stainless so they would only need to be polished get a magnet if it sticks well there chromed if its has only slight atraction there crap stainless[304] remove the part and the electoplater will give you the options regarding plating or polishing i use swift electroplating at silverwater for most off my polishing your proberly looking at 2weeks as there always flat out cheers gary

Try place called The Bronzing Studio. Last time I was there (few years back) he had a chromed house brick as a door stop. He does it all.
