tasksta
Gulp 3" shrimp in bananna prawn, 1/16 oz TT jig head with 1/0 hook. Lighter the better, they will hit in on the drop most times. TT jig heads are pricey but yet to miss a hook up with them. Nitro are also quite good but never in stock in my local+_+_).

CarlRak
Hey mate, I'm a complete novice when it comes bream on lures, but have been trying over the last few weeks in the harbour and middle harbour with little bits of success. Have found 1/16 size #2 and #4 heads with 2" Gulb Minnow Grubs in Pumpkinseed and 80mm Wrigglers in Bloodworm working best when hopped over a drop-off. I'm sure there's some bream guru's on here who can give more accurate advice.
cjchen
im no expert but all the readings online talks about 1/16th i go up to 1/8 depending on depth eg 4-5m 2-3m i use 1/12th i think most importantly is casting distance , if u are not casting far enough theres no point using 1/16 now mind you 1/16th they will hit it on the drop but when i use a heavier jighead it seems they are picking it up when it hits bottom. i actually don't have much success using 1/16th but maybe thats just me. rjc123
1/8, 1/12, 1/16 are the three sizes i like. Just basically have the minimum weight required to get to the bottom and a suitable hook size. 80mm wrigglers in bloodworm hands down! Squidgy flick baits arent bad either if you are fishing around oysters or structure.
Howdoweplaythis
Sorry to hijack your thread, but what retrieves would you use for bream SPs? I've got a 2inch jigging grub and i've tried a couple of retrieves but all i seem to get is small flatties.
