sure Posted February 2, 2012 Share Posted February 2, 2012 So fishraiders, Went to Dunns Swamp about a week ago and despite the shit weather still hit the water for a few sessions... Anyways I was using a spinner bait and made my way to a secluded part of the swamp on my yak and jigged it gently in front of a rock face... Without expectation my rod buckles over but i think it's just a snag until it takes of dragging the yak straight for a submerged log 10 meters away... So at this stage I had two options: 1) free spool the fish in hopes of it turning away from the log Or 2) lock up the drag and try to turn it's head Well i picked option two and to my misery I pulled the hook... Not happy at all but found the brighter side that there actuall is fish in the swamp after fishing it for many hours, well I should say at least one...
