Blowering Dam full moon 8/2/12

With the full moon upon us a Higgo & i decided to give Blowering dam a go , its only 1 1/2 hours from home & we arrived about 6.30pm & started casting Jackles with Higgo picking up a couple of redfin.

as it got dark we started trolling & we found a steep bank with plenty of fish on the sounder which only produced one dropped fish & some cursing from myself so we trolled around to the wall with Higgo picking up a cod on the way.

The wind started to make life difficult at the wall so back to the sheltered steep bank & i immediately picked up 2 cod on the troll.

After things started to quieten down Higgo tied on a Assassin spinnerbait & picked up a cod on his first cast needles to say i didnt waste any time copying him & tied one on resulting in a nice fish after 10 minutes.

We decided to call it a night & about 12.00am when the rain came in.
