Leonidis Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 (edited) This is my first post which i decided to put on because i have never caught a bag limit on squid. I don't own a boat and all my fishing is land based. The waters are brown from the rains and the squid are not that easy to find. I phoned me mate on friday morning and asked him what he thought about squiding and where he would suggest to go. His reply was to go down or up the coast and find blue water if i was willing to drive 2 hours + tips, well 20 squid @ 12kg was worth the drive after all. I don't know if it was the area or this specific day because i could of keeped catching them but i bagged out very quick, or maybe my mate is good at picking spots because he always bags out.
