On Strike Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Hi All Just got back from a great trip to the Eucumbene River. The recent rains had the river up a bit but still fishable. Caught a good number of fish with the best being a 6.5lber on a globug. Caught plenty of others between 6 and 1lb all on either a bug or nymph. Fished the same water I fished with Caddis a few weeks back. Lots of angling pressure but still plenty of fish to be had. All fish weighed in a weigh net and all released. Mostly browns but a few good rainbows too. Best rainbow was 3lbs. Paul On Strike

cc118 Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Hey Paul, great work. The Eucumbene River fished exceptionally well this year and I’m glad you managed to squeeze in another trip before the season closed. I’m going to hit Thomos in the next week or so. PM me when you’re free. Best Caddis
