pisanod
I've been on the forum for a while now, but this is my first post. Went down the Gong on the weekend, taking advantage of the good weather we're seeing at the moment... Sussed out a few on the beaches between Thirroul and Coalcliff, Austinmer looked good so we set up our gear while waiting for the surfers to clear off. Using Salted Pillies and whole frozen Squid, bagged a handful of Salmon and last catch of the night after we had packed up all our gear, Port Jackson Shark Smallest one was around the 30-35cm mark

elferoz777
Which beach at Austi was this? Was it the one across from the cafes and park ? or was is slightly more north and behind the old headland hotel? Good haul of sambos there...they are all up and down the beaches down this way. Man that shark would have been a blow out...didnt know they were down here.. Looks like you had fun either way.
